Excelia tourism school – New tourism
Former student ofExcelia, Charlotte Rotureau intervenes today with a substantive question: "What would cultural, sports and tourism associations look like that would really take into account ecological and social issues? ". To answer it, she wanted to "provide students with an experience of slow-tourisme and especially while roaming in order to bind the body by being its own engine, le cœur en the heart by se reconnectant à ses émotions, and the spirit by discovering nouveaux secteurs and by meeting committed professionals. »
If the teacher had roughed out the route upstream during the students' international semester, the latter, back in April, then had to, in thematic sub-groups, plan the itinerary between Blois, Chambord and Tours, organize meals, places to visit, technical and material aspects, planning and communication… “At first a little worried, they arrived very motivated on June 7 in the early morning”.
Three days, two supervisors, two groups, two rhythms, physical effort and presence for a very dense program: bike rental with the Blois structure Les vélos verts, two nights in a tent at the Huttopia and Wild Bed campsites, one night at The People Hostel in Tours, one introduction to wine tourism at Château Gaudrelle to talk about organic and biodynamic farming, a visit of the castle of Chambord… And meetings: with Grégoire, eco-tourism professional, and with Adeline, from the Centre-Val de Loire region to discuss the Loire by bike…
